For those with more than the usual urge to ‘get up and go’, our adventure holidays provide our visitors with an opportunity to connect with a country on a physical level, with a range of experiences throughout East Asia, from very easy to the very challenging.

Naturally, we want all our visitors to return home safely, and there are a number of different grades of tours in this category which, dependent upon being in possession of the requisite levels of fitness and stamina, are all classed as safe, with expert supervision and well-considered contingency planning.

Whether in modest trails suited to family discovery, or the deep Jungle treks of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia, canyoning, kayaking, white-water rafting, or the stunning high altitude treks of Bhutan, our adventure tours offer the possibility to get beyond the well-worn travel centres and experience for yourself the reality of some of the best wild places on the planet.

The exciting Zip-lines now found in Laos, the Philippines and Northern Thailand are great ways to have fun while exploring the forests in search of wildlife.

The mountains of Southeast Asia can also offer interesting adventures, with good climbs available on Mount Fansipan in Vietnam, Mount Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo and the Volcanoes of the Philippines and Bali.

Permits to climb Mount Everest aren’t possible for us to obtain, but we can get you to the Rongbuk Glacier base camp in Tibet.

Good rock climbing challenges are available in Vang Vieng in Laos, Ha Long Bay, in Vietnam, Guilin in China or Krabi, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai in Thailand.

Away from the natural world, you might also consider the excellent Bungee jumping to be found at the Macau Tower, a short boat ride from Hong Kong, an awesome 233 metre drop of true courage. There are also gentler options, including controlled descents here for the less gung ho. You can even don a rope and climb the tower if you want.
